Rising up, washing clean

I feel as if there is an ocean within me. The waves gently fold though my being radiating so much
love health happiness truth. It's lovely. It is the morning of day 13, I haven't made a juice yet, really enjoying the emptiness within the barrel of that wave.

We are on our way to Mt. Stuart today, the boys will be rap jumping. They are rope technicians, and although I know how to abseil I have never rap jumped...wow!! So I am going to give it a go.
We are taking the kids, R and M, who are both 2 and a half and are so physical it is crazy!!! They are going to love the chance to try out some climbing, exploring the bush, and the veiws I think will be so beautiful.....

Yesterday, November 13th I enjoyed.

MSM and lemon in water
1L greeeeen juice, with apple and grapefruit.
sucking on one orange
800mL Master Cleanser
1 Coconut Water

1L green juice with pineapple and ginger
1 dandelion tea

1 T hemp oil with kelp

Treated my grandma to a day at the shops, she loves a lemon tart. I noticed my vibration was so open and happy, It was beautiful. Usually malls get to me, and I dont like to go into them as the kind of scramble me. I couldn't find a juice in the whole place so I fasted on water, which was a challenge but I survived it...i find if I go out in the daytime, working or whatever, i dont make as much juice. I have a feeling that the key is the momentum with the juice, you know plenty of it. I am just going to juice more veg and fruits and stick that in jars so i don't have to guess where to go for juice, and take the gamble of not finding any.

Motto: Be Prepared
So you dont have to resort to a non organic orange from coles.

I am noticing my skin clearing up, and I think it is the enemas really helping, i am feeling clean inside and thats amazing you can see it in my eyes now.

on November 12th, I was nourished by:

1L celery, lemon, ginger, sunny sprouts, cucumber, apple
750mL grapefruit, orange, grapes
1L pineaplle, celery, apple, lime
water
800mL fennel, sweet potato, carrot, tomato, kale, parsley, garlic
2T hemp oil and kelp.

Happy juicing beloveds!!!

Spontanious jump into Juicing

Last night I intensley felt it was time for me to Juice Feast. I had been sitting on the feeling that I would Juice Feast "one day", but had never really thought of just jumping into it. Now. I mean, when I wake up in the morning I am going to start juicing for 92 days. Uh huh. You go. My raw journey has been absolutely fascinating. When I went raw in 2007 I was amazed at my bodies transformation, its requirements and what it let go of! I was breastfeeding my newborn as I transitioned to Raw plant based foods and boy did I need plant fats, wow sustainance, the weight came off, my vitality increased, my breathing improved, I nurtured my hunger in transition with smoothies, avocados, raw creamy nut dressings on my salads and loads of bananas!

2 years in and my dietary requirements are no longer what they were. My body gives me signals now that differ so greatly from that original way I adopted of eating Raw. Now, too much fat just tires me out, lethargy and a slump in energy follows. I still integrate a little in my meals but hardly what I used to. Still breastfeeding I have found that I can eat greens and fruits in abundance with out feeling tired. So I decided, 2.5 years into breastfeeding that i can safely dip my toes into the Juicy world of Feasting....
Well, here it goes.

Day 1: November 2 2009

I am a little tentative, excited and ready for adventure!!! I have been juicing for quite a while now but had not considered until recently a full on Feast. This morning I downloaded Angela Stokes-Monarch's e-book on Juice Feasting for some tips and dived right in.

My main focus as I feast is healing my respitory system, clearing up my skin and releasing any toxic emotions that have been holding me back from reaching my fullest potential. I am excited to reset my whole system, beautify my monkey suit and really break through any limitations I may have unconciously set my self!

So what nourished me today?

1/2litre-fennel, celery, ruby red grapefruit, apple, parsley
1/2litre-pineapple,apple,rocket (argula)

1/2litre-celery, watermelon, ginger, strawberries
2 young coconut water, about 1 litre
(fresh off the tree! bliss!)
500ml-pure water

700ml-zucchini, tomato, fennel, capsicum, cos lettuce (like an energy soup!YUMMMM! :)
700ml-watermelon, jackfruit, black muscat grapes

Observations: Have a definate detox headache. A mild sort of one.
I found my self constantly pretty hungry today, I was amazed at how little time I spent in the kitchen despite making so many juices! i think i spent more time peeing. No bowel movements today, which is unusual, I have 3 every day....

I had heaps of doubts, mind games and hungry for solid food pangs, but I just reminded myself of the great benifits ahead! I also occupied myself with assisting Peck with a great garden we are building for our lovely host, Kathy and we walked to the community garden and blissed out with the kids in the lush abundance growing all around! Bananas ahoy!

It is interesting making M (2) lunch, I am sure it will get easier as my body blisses out on pure raw organic juice.......what ever could be next?????

Hemaview and your genetic potential!

Wow, what an experience seeing my blood, under the microscope for the first time! I didn't know
exactly what to expect my blood to look like, I was actually a little nervous. When
my blood cells appeared on the screen, I was instantly amazed at the way they looked.

Having been eating raw for over a year, I could instantly see that my blood cells had uniform shape. Not too fat and not too tiny. The flowed easily and I could clearly see I had an alkaline system.

I had actually eaten 2 squares of Raw chocolate 10 mins before the HemaView test and my Naturopath said she could see that my liver function was superb, (processing those fats the way livers are supposed to!).

I was able to see that my body could use more magnesium and that I could up my B12 and B9, which I was able to remedy right away by buying a reputable Magnesium powder and MultiB Supplement. I realised my B's could have been down as I had neglected to be taking my algea this past fortnight. These signs from my cells were invaluable as I had been aware that my body was asking for something more, I just hadn't put my finger on what it was.

It was amazing to see my little guys on that slide, I felt as if I could see how far I had come from the girl with very little energy, easily burnt out and on asthma meds, to the woman I am now, focused, energetic mother with no asthma to speak of, bright eyed and allergy free!

The HemaView is a superb tool. One that connects you instantly with the reality of your biology!
You cannot help but feel such an instant fascination with your most fundemental building blocks.

Cells are amazing, they journey around your body for 120 days, before dying and new blood is created. You are fundemently recreating yourself every single moment! What kind of body do you want to build?

What do you want pumping through your veins? Swift, oxygenated, alkaline blood generating life force or the alternative which is sluggish, bloated or mutating blood cells filled with acidic toxins competing with eachother for air. I have seen this and it is not pretty. Do you think with an acidic body it is possible to live your genetic potential? Achieve your highest goals?

What do you look like on the inside?

Cells seem to interface with your emotions, beliefs, react to the food you eat, and amazingly they react to your emotions even when they are on the slide, being looked at by you!

I urge everyone, to take advantage of this wonderful tool, the Hemaview, as soon as you can. It is a wonder that all doctors are not using it as a diagnostic tool. There would be a lot more supplements being prescribed and a lot less drugs that is for sure!

Look at yourself from within, as soon as you can, and discover health!

YOU are worthy of everything Wonderful!

So much is happening! It is unbelievable the energy that is bouncing around at the moment!
I have just read the first "Anastasia. The Ringing Cedars" book by Vladimir Megre, and as you know if you have read it, something shifts within you, it is potent. It is like a bubbling wellspring of happiness, of awareness, centeredness and patience. I feel as if I have gently grasped something, or something has gently grasped me and i know simply what i must do, moment by moment. I read the book in a day, and i must read it again as i feel as if i dont want to lose hold of what Anastasia teaches.

It comes at a syncronistic time, as in my beloved "Organic Buyers" delivery box on Sunday I recieved an amazing CD of Tony Robbins interviewing Deepak Chopra. Both the book and the interview speak deeply of this quantum shift in human potential. What just absolutely inspires me is that our bodies, limitless in their eternal knowing, can create the chemicals that are required to fix anything that is out of balance within us, we ourselves are the ultimate pharmacy. What a concept! And that our feelings of exhileration, joy, happiness, contentedness, bliss, understanding, gratitude, appreciation, peace and love actually biochemically create exactly what is needed to support the immune system and create optimum health! On the other side of that or feelings of terror, depression, sadness, rage create cortisol which creates an acid environment within us (not to mention our planet) and contributes to dis-ease. Where would you rather be all day? Can foods help us balance out, help us create wellness, happiness, self love?

Anastasia speaks of seeds. Seeds, packets of unlimited potential, have now taken on a whole new meaning for me. Before we plant a seed, if we commune with that seed by putting it in our mouths and then offering to the celestials (sun, moon, stars, planets), the seed is encoded with our current state of wellbeing, with the assistance of the cosmos. That seed when planted uses that coding to create fruits/vegies/herbs that are structured to entirely match our current biochemistry. We partake gratefully of the fruit of the plant and dis-ease can be healed! Nature in all its forms, is actually here for us, and we have the responsibility to tend, nurture, plant, dance, and love it back in all its forms. Everything has its place and its awareness of its role in this incredible dream we are in.

One thing I know for sure, is that we can change our world in an instant. We are creating at the most fundamental level, our reality ALL of the time. We can create health, just by knowing it is so. Feeling it. Breathing it. Spreading it.

Fellow humans, I urge you, go out into your gardens, sit quietly and listen, touch plants and thank them. Reconnect with the planet that supports so deeply your exsistance, know that you are integral in the planets dream also. Realise that you are valuable, unbelievably powerful, eternally co creating, and worthy of everything wonderful!

Victoria's Bushfires

The bushfires that ravaged the state of Victoria have completly stunned
all Australians. I am often moved to tears when I hear of the beautiful courage of those
who stayed and fought for their lives, for loved ones, for neighbours, strangers, for their animals and livelihoods.

I am extending all of my love and thoughts to all. I want to express my gratitude
for the beautiful, graceful coming together of the Australian (and global) community.
People from everywhere reaching out to assist those in need, without hesitation, without thinking of themselves, I want to say thank you. I see that we have the capacity to create and be there for eachother and renew, rebirth and eventually move on, from this point.

I see strength, I also see that the people who fell victim to this tragedy will require someone to turn to, to talk to, to be held, to be listened to, to be fed and housed until they can take the next step. I see the strength of individuals banding together to create a momentus wave of healing for the people who were subjected to this disaster.
Please don't forget to send energy to those in need. To donate to the RedCross Appeal and to give whatever you can, this is such an important time to give.

My heart goes out to the families that lost those dear to them, may you find peace in remembering them, for they will always be with you.

In Love.

RawInspiration

Yesterday Iwas privalaged to teach another Raw Living foods class and what a pleasure it is to bring this wonderful, empowering truth to people. I feel blessed that wherever I am, to be able to just give through my own wonderous experiences through eating raw foods. To inspire through delicious, simple vibrant uncooking, then describe the changes in myself and my immmediate family through going raw, people leave my home with a fresh new understanding, and with new tools to unlock the blocks they have been living with in their own lives.

I have had wonderful feedback from my classes! A beautiful woman, looking for new knowledge caught up with me in the market this morning explaining that after my class the food left her feeling clear and calm, and she had no trouble sleeping that night after weeks of laying awake and feeling exhausted in the morning, that she awoke refreshed and clear today. She felt as if there was an underlying profound truth in eating food as nature intended.

My classes leave people feeling inspired to take control of their food intake from that moment!

That is exactly how the class I took in England left me feeling in May 2008 when I attended Anna Marcon's Raw Live Foods Class (Alyssa Cohan certification). Although I was already Raw I was renewed, and it really enhanced my comittment to my self, my health, my education, my family and my Life.

I felt fresh and inspired and I have never looked back! Anna gave me and others the tools and the commitment through imparting her own personal experiences! It is very rewarding to be able to give that sort of freedom to people, through your own experiences.

So, If you want to know more about the most health giving, low impact diet on the planet or if you need that little nudge to get back into it or get your self functioning clearly and energetically, where ever you are see if you can attend a raw uncooking class. Inspiration guarenteed!

Contact whollyraw@gmail.com or www.rawpower.com.au for the latest classes going on in Australia! If you know of more websites offering raw live food preparation classes please feel free to mention them below and I will post them up!

Good Living to you all!

An attitude of gratitude, a monsoon, and a wedding

I have returned home to a monsoonal Townsville (my backyard is a pool, and the frogs are singing) from a little trip across to Western Aus. I was privilaged to cater an all raw food wedding for my partner Pecks older brother Sean! What an amazing experience!

I learned so much and it honestly felt amazing to touch so many folks positively through sharing food! Raw live food just speaks volumes without you having to preach or song and dance about it, I was approached over and over about the vibrancy, the taste and how much it was like eating "normally"! ("It doesn't taste raw, but there is something about it...")

The majority of the people attending the wedding had never heard of the concept before and were so receptive and open. I have had offers for me to teach Raw to the Porongurup community! Assist with some recipes that can nutrionally support kids with learning problems, one wonderful young lady approached me with such a keen interest in the food that she couldn't wait to try it out on her family!

The menu, in case you are thinking you might like to cater a wedding or perhaps a festival!:

  • Live vegie pizza rounds
  • Nori Bites, made with a delicious "rice" of cauliflower, cashew and chickpea miso. Filled with sprouts, avocado, curly carrots and soaked wakame. Sprinkled with dulse powder.
  • Tonnes of dips, raw sunflower almond hoummus, pinenut herb pestos, rich tomato sauces served with gorgeous buckwheat and flax crispy crackers and vege scoops and loads of chopped herbs.
  • Abundant fruit platters topped with mint.
  • Waldorf Salad with creamy Almond Mayo
  • Ani Phyo's Curried Rice Salad with a whollyraw twist and lime wedges
  • Zucchini pasta marinara
  • Leafy basil salad with honey mustard dressing
  • Felafel, tahini dressing, tabouli and hummus platters
  • Sunburgers resting on lettuce leaves heaped with hummus, rich tomato sauce, lemon, basil and olive oil
  • Green Salads
  • Very berry Oh my god it is really like cheesecake! cheesecake
  • Black forest torte
  • Banana kream pie topped with a layer of macadamia kream then a raw berry sorbet on top of that.
  • Sexy chocolate mousse fruity kream cups for the bridal party.

Check out a few foody pics right here:

I found that I used up the 2 days leading up to the wedding dehydrating crackers and pizzas and burgers, making all dips and sauces, and pies etc. I found most of the work had to be condensed down into the few hours before and after the wedding ceremony ( before dinner service) as things like nori and salads begged to be made just prior.

Part of the catering that I like most is creating interesting platters that are full of discovery and have vibrant colour, leaping off the platters! It really captivates peoples interest and draws them into trying new things! Thank you to Scott and Viv for the fruity contribution! Thank you to my wonderful wedding wenches in the kitchen Chloe, Donna, Sara, Miles and Terri.

Check out a couple of pics on my facebook (Holly Clark) and no doubt you'll soon be seeing the fruity pies I have been practicing for a really special organics shop to sell . Can't wait, it is gonna be raw bliss all over the place!

Congratulations Sean and Miles, may your union be full of Love, wonder, discovery and always truth! Thank you for so, so much!

Travelling Raw

Well, today Moss and I are off to reunite with our beloved Peck in West Oz and attend a wonderful Raw! Wedding of his brother! I am going to come up with some wonderful live wedding bliss treats and enjoy a beautiful week with the Firth's in the bush!

From Townsville we have an approximetly 8 hour journey. Stopping over in Sydney for a couple hours too. Staying raw in the air, isn't hard, it just takes a bit of planning, especially with the little one!

Planes for me are really dehydrating and the dry me right out, i find sipping my own water with a little crystal salt in it really good, but to today I am also going to take a couple of packs of Vitacoco (coconut water) this is sure to keep me and Mossy hydrated and vitalised as we cross the country.

I also packed some activated nuts and figs as a snack and made some of my famous Crakalakas! to munch with some avocado! Yum!

Following Victoria Boutenko's travel advise I also made a dehydrated "salad" with pumpkin, tomato, garlic, zucchini, carrots, basil, parlsey, beetroot and more, which i can simply rehydrate with some warm water when we need it! should make for a colourful fresh soup like meal that grows as it rehydrates, so it really packs down tiny in my carry on bag!

So I think it will be an easy day Raw transiting all over Australia.

Can't wait to post about my first ever raw!wedding! See you soon!

So many reasons to eat raw wholefoods!

You are what you eat . . . so eat well. A stupendous insight of civilizations past has now been confirmed by today's investigative, nutritional sciences. They have shown that what was once called "The Doctrine of Signatures" was astoundingly correct. It now contends that every whole food has a pattern that resembles a body organ or physiological function and that this pattern acts as a signal or sign as to the benefit the food provides the eater.

Here is just a short list of examples of Whole Food Signatures:

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye...and science shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as well to overcom e male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.
